MushHub privacy notice

Version 1.4 — October 3, 2026

Controller: Cristian Arturo Torres Sanchez (MushInGames), Mexico. Contact: contacto@mushhub.stream

This is a courtesy translation. If it differs from the Spanish version (PRIVACY_ES.txt), the Spanish version prevails.

1. In short

MushHub runs on your computer. Your recordings, clips, transcripts, saved chat, settings and credentials stay on your machine. The controller does NOT receive, store or sell your personal data: MushHub has no servers of its own that keep your information, except the Kick relay and the accounts server described in sections 4 and 5.

2. What is stored on your computer

Depending on the features you turn on: configuration and preferences; your channel names and identifiers; access tokens for Twitch, Kick, YouTube and TikTok (encrypted with Windows DPAPI and tied to your Windows user); chat messages and events from your streams (to find highlights); transcripts of your recordings, made on your computer with Whisper; clips, subtitles and technical logs. Everything stays in %LOCALAPPDATA%\MushHub and in the folders you choose. You can delete it at any time by removing those folders or uninstalling MushHub.

3. What leaves your computer and where it goes (only if you use the feature)

4. Kick relay

So that you do not have to create your own Kick application, Kick authorization and chat go through a small MushHub server on Cloudflare. That server holds the MushHub application key, exchanges the authorization codes and temporarily keeps the latest public chat messages of your channel to deliver them to your MushHub. It does not store your passwords or your tokens and is not used for any other purpose.

5. Memberships (only if you pay for one)

If you support MushHub with a membership on Ko-fi, Ko-fi sends the MushHub accounts server (Cloudflare) your email, membership tier, amount and payment date. The server keeps only your email, your tier, when it ends and a random identifier of the PC where you activated it (so it works on one PC at a time). To activate it, your email is used to send you a one-time code through an email service (Brevo). MushHub never receives or stores card details: Ko-fi processes the payment with PayPal or Stripe. You can ask for your membership data to be deleted by writing to contacto@mushhub.stream.

6. What it is used for

Only to make MushHub work: connecting your platforms, showing and reading chat, controlling OBS, preparing titles, creating clips and subtitles, and diagnosing errors. Never for advertising or profiling.

7. Your rights

Because your data is on your computer, you control it: you can view, correct or delete it directly, and disconnect any account from MushHub or from the platform itself. For any privacy question write to contacto@mushhub.stream.

8. Security

Minimum permissions are requested on each platform, credentials are encrypted with DPAPI, secrets are hidden in logs, and a human confirmation is required before changing information on your channels. No system is infallible.

9. Minors

MushHub is not intended for minors without the permission of their parents or guardians, and you must meet each platform's minimum age.

10. YouTube and Google user data

This section applies only if you connect your YouTube channel in MushHub, which is optional. MushHub uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and the Google Privacy Policy applies (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

11. Changes

If this notice changes significantly, MushHub will show it when you update to the new version.

Aviso de privacidad de MushHub

Versión 1.4 — 3 de octubre de 2026

Responsable: Cristian Arturo Torres Sanchez (MushInGames), México. Contacto: contacto@mushhub.stream
